Coverstar

What Coverstar is

Coverstar is a social video app for people who want to record, edit and share short clips with a community-focused audience. It suits users interested in creative posts such as vlogs, reactions, dance videos, hauls and “get ready with me” clips. The app is aimed at keeping social activity centred on making and viewing content rather than private one-to-one conversations.

Ways to create and join in

Users can make videos around prompts and challenges, browse posts from other members and create their own challenges. Coverstar also includes custom avatars and face-tracking tools for adding emotes and reactions. Live streams are available, with background audio support and picture-in-picture on supported devices.

Community features

According to the supplied app information, Coverstar does not offer direct messaging, and posts are reviewed by moderators. Its stated focus is on a clean, family-friendly space without bullying or explicit content. That makes it more suitable for users who want a moderated social video setting, though moderation does not remove the need for an adult to discuss sensible sharing and viewing habits.
