Nomad Sculpt is an Art & Design app for making and refining 3D models. It suits people who want to shape characters, objects or hard-surface forms directly on a phone or tablet, whether they are sketching an idea or working through a more detailed model.

Tools for shaping and refining models

The app includes brushes for building up clay, smoothing, flattening and masking parts of a model. Primitive shapes such as cylinders, toruses, tubes and lathes provide starting points for new work. For harder-edged designs, trim and boolean cutting tools can remove sections using selectable shapes.

Several mesh workflows are available for different stages of a project. Voxel remeshing can create an even level of detail while blocking out a form, dynamic topology can add detail where the brush is used, and multiresolution sculpting lets you move between mesh resolutions. Decimation helps reduce polygon counts while retaining detail.

Painting, layers and output

Nomad Sculpt supports vertex painting with colour, roughness and metalness controls. Sculpting and painting changes can be kept in separate layers, which makes it easier to test edits and return to earlier versions of an idea. Face groups, automatic UV unwrapping and baking tools support more involved model preparation.

Finished work can be rendered with physically based materials, lighting and shadows, with additional effects such as depth of field, ambient occlusion and tone mapping. Import and export support includes glTF, OBJ, STL and PLY files.
